Digital

Our clients tell us that data is changing too fast for them to consider long runs. By the time it’s done drying, it’s out-dated. So they’re honing down their lists and targeting only their top 5% (for example) audience with a message that’s actually relevant.

Variable image printing has gotten much easier and allows for more customization (male/female versions, group/single versions, etc) than ever before. And the quality is finally good enough that even designers don’t have any complaints.

We use our presses for all marketing materials and books. We’re able to personalise almost all of our marketing materials with images and data unique to each recipient. Our photo books and other photo gifts are produced one at a time for individual customers.

It’s not about digital, it’s about the possibilities digital provides…

Digital is a great way to test ideas in limited quantities prior to larger runs. Even our larger runs have become more and more personalised. When believe digital is the ONLY way to go. The power and cost of very small runs is worth the results. And, of course, the lack of waste makes us much ‘greener’ too.

Digital Benefits

Cost effective – without the need to create a plate for every image, small businesses can print fewer brochures, flyers and business cards more cheaply.

Fast – each litho print run takes a great deal of time to set up. Digital presses, however, can be set up quickly and are capable of enabling the very next day, or even on the same day.

Green – the elimination of a plate and shorter make-ready, means you don’t need all the other printing materials and waste that goes along with them. In effect, this means there are no longer chemicals, ink and paper and because you only print what you need, there’s less chance of obsolescence.

Customisation – every print can be customised to include unique content, such as a customer’s name, a personalised URL and relevant images. Personalised marketing improves the response rate – people are more likely to engage with content that’s relevant to their interests. Litho, on the other hand, only allows a static ‘one size fits all’ message per print run.

Quality – the quality of digital printers is constantly improving and in the not too distant future, they’ll be just as consistent and competitive at long print runs. Digital printing means small businesses have access to highly cost effective print marketing on a one-to-one basis. In a recent campaign for one of our clients, digital printing enabled us to create individual personalised brochures to match the responses customers logged on their website. And by only printing what was requested, our client saved a great deal of cash.

Our technology and all of our devices are compatible with a wide variety of materials, providing a variety of finishing options including coated or uncoated. With print-for-pay flexibility and non-carbon required options, we have a solution to suit your every need.
